  • The island is essential for the Brunei–China relations due to its part in the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative. Explain this briefly in more detail, giving the fullest amount of detail in the main body.
    • Introduction expanded.
      • Slightly better, but there aren't any cites supporting PMB as being a key node in Brunei-China relations in the lede and cite #3 is entirely irrelevant. Tell the reader that China invested money in the industry on PMB as part of the Belt and Road Initiative. Developed with deep-sea port facilities, industrial embankments, and the Pulau Muara Besar Bridge. Awkward transition.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 18:28, 16 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Changes made to the lede. Pangalau (talk) 01:33, 17 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

    • Since no exact date was provided, I have referenced the publication date instead.
@Sturmvogel 66: There have been no updates on the nature preserve since then. Would you recommend removing it instead? Pangalau (talk) 01:56, 17 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • the island offered a glimpse into the region's natural wealth Unencyclopedic
    • Sentence removed.
  • north of the city What city?
    • Context given.

    • Sentence removed.
  • On 15 August 1945, when Japan accepted the terms of the Potsdam Declaration, marking the end of offensive operations, the ship remained at PMB until September awkward, rephrase
    • Sentence rephrased.
  • As part of the fishpondification process, which turns mangrove swamps into brackish water ponds for aquatic farming, a foreign company submitted an application to build a 30-hectare (74-acre) shrimp farm at PMB. Add links, what company and when did it submit an application. And what's its current status?
    • As the information was outdated, it appears to have been overlooked and subsequently removed.
