Cleanup issues

[edit]

This article reads like a translation, possibly from German. In some ways it seems like spam, though the dice do have some interesting mathematical properties and the external links don't actually lead to commercial sites. It needs work on grammar, wikification, date formatting, style, and sourcing.--Unconventional (talk) 03:00, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unusual site text

[edit]

On Winkelmann's site there is a page that has almost identical text from this page. One can find this by clicking on the link Miwin's dice in the sidebar. Another unusual thing is that while other pages are in German, that page is in English. Maybe the text was copied from the Wikipedia page at one point, which might explain why it is in English, but the fact that it seems like a translation makes it more unclear.Erimaxbau (talk) 23:42, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Page name

[edit]

Shouldn't this be Miwin's dice, with the apostrophe? Accelerometer (talk) 23:43, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The probability that a given die will have a higher number than another is 17/36; a lower number, 16/36.

This sentence currently appears in the article. I myself am not sure what is correct and so I'm not editing it myself, but it should certainly be changed. 188.169.229.30 (talk) 22:24, 9 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Probably not notable enough for its own article. – Closed Limelike Curves (talk) 21:00, 27 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Closed Limelike Curves, this has been open for a couple months without objection. Is this something you're still interested in? If so, you should be good to carry out a WP:BOLDMERGE. Thebiguglyalien (talk) 🛸 19:44, 5 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
