Who or what was “Neal”?
[edit]In the second paragraph under Early origins there is this statement: “Later, the Nashville Coffee and Manufacturing Company was renamed as the "Cheek-Neal Coffee Company". There is no information about the Neal (whatever). Was it a merger of two companies? Did a new partner buy into the company? Wouldn’t it have made sense to include it? 2600:1700:4E10:C690:7DF6:99E0:43FB:A858 (talk) 04:08, 10 April 2025 (UTC)
Name change
[edit]It recently changed its name to Maxwell apartment. Neoogai (talk) 22:50, 1 October 2025 (UTC)
- This is "for a limited time" temporary marketing gimmick, similar to Talk:IHOP#New name... in 2018, and may require similar page protection like what happened there. As of now, https://www.kraftheinz.com/maxwell-house still has "Maxwell House" Zzyzx11 (talk) 18:14, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
- Based on https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2025/10/01/maxwell-house-coffee-name-change-maxwell-apartment/86456209007/ it seems that the Maxwell Apartment-branded coffee is only going to be available on Amazon, and the regular Maxwell House coffee will still be available elsewhere. - Just checked Amazon, it seems that they reverted back to the "Maxwell House" name, as the package of four canisters that they were selling is currently sold out. Zzyzx11 (talk) 19:15, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
