LMDE 4 Stable?

[edit]

Is LMDE 4 still stable (as marked in the "releases" section on the page) even with the release of LMDE 5? Urban Versis 32 (talk) 22:37, 20 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

New beta release for Linux Mint 22

[edit]

The beta just officially came out with more information. Can someone add that to the article? (I'm not familiar with tables)

Features section *might* have outdated information

[edit]

Point:Iḿ gonna edit what i think could be outdated information

Literally just made a account like 10 mins ago and noticed on the features sections it says that mint comes with XChat but on the page it says Hexchat. ("Linux Mint comes bundled with a wide range of application software, including LibreOffice, Firefox, Thunderbird, HexChat,").

I could be wrong as far as I know Linux mint cinnamon ubutuntu version doesnt use Hexchat (i have a newer version downloaded). I do have preinstalled the matrix app. Matrix is not even mentioned in the article about being preinstalled

I also think that pidgen is outdated. I don't have it installed on new verisions.

I asked some people on the linux mint discord and multiple of them are syaing they dont have it installed 15' Courier bag (talk) 00:14, 18 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to remove the part about pidgen and hexchat. They don't appear in new versions included from what it seems. I might try to find a source that says when they stop including it later 15' Courier bag (talk) 00:23, 18 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
