Was planning to update the timeline on his internet career involving his most recently published animation, nomination for gamer of the year award, and other smaller events. In addition to that, fix the formatting and add addition embeds for specific events since new information has gone live since the last edit. GGottlin (talk) 23:37, 15 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The Time Traveler Tales comic's first issue was released last week (and second issue yesterday) but I'm unfamiliar with Wikipedia and not sure if that information needs to be sourced or anything - here's his tweet about it if anyone wants to update the sentence, add citation etc / 14:49, 04 January 2024 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.12.229.92 (talk)
I just checked the sources that are currently used for that part of the article, and neither are reliable sources for his birthplace, so I would recommend just deleting that information if a more reliable source isn't found. The first source states that he was both born in "Virginia, Minnesota, United States" and "North Carolina, United States," and the second states that he has never officially stated where he was born. I'll keep an eye out for a more reliable source. StarlitSorcerer (talk) 01:27, 12 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Done Removed place of birth for verification failure and added comment to encourage a discussion on this talk page before it's returned. —Sirdog(talk) 02:00, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@DeMarq0, I saw your recent edit on the birthplace and I will unfortunately be reverting them. The sources you cited are not reliable and I believe those sources were originally taken from the Dream Team fandom wiki, this would later be used in here and would later become "fact" with the other two sources that you cited and also on the Mr Beast fandom wiki.
In an interview with Karl Jacobs himself he says that he "came from New York" and later moved to North Carolina (this is also mention in the edit request above). I believe this mistake occurred when the unreliable sources took the |location= information from the original Dream Team fandom wiki article they spun it to be his actual birthplace, which is doubtful. I hope this shows why citing reliable sources is important. If you are against what I said here feel free to reply. WanderingMorpheme00:24, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I understand the sources were not reliable and I am aware why my sources were unfortunetly unverified so I can understand your decisions! DeMarq0 (talk) 18:31, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
