This page should not be speedily deleted because (The John Roa's article was deleted between 2018 and 2021, but the situation is different now. Starting in 2019, 2022 and present, he received media coverage from reliable outlets, including (The Philippine Star1) and for collaborations for ex in one source (Daily Tribune2, Manila Bulletin3), another (Manila Standard4), which published an article about his music career. This coverage did not exist at the time of the earlier deletion. With these newer sources available, the article now meets notability guidelines and should be kept and improved rather than speedily deleted.) --AdobongPogimasarap đ16:09, 26 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I'm the admin who considered this article for speedy delete. One previous AfD on John Roa was for a businessman, not the singer who is the subject of the current article. There was also a previous AfD on the singer with a decision of "no consensus defaulting to Keep." As such, the previous AfDs are not valid grounds to speedy delete the article. In addition, there appear to be enough reliable sources proving notability for the singer that the article would not be eligible for speedy delete under A7 (No indication of importance). --SouthernNights (talk) 17:31, 26 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
