Typefaces?

I see no mention of typefaces designed by Caroff or his associates. I don't think they should be credited with typefaces, because that wasn't the kind of work they did at all.

It's clear they DID create a number of posters that they lettered by hand (i.e. not typefaces) in which the lettering is so distinctive and well done that OTHERS later created typefaces based on them.

(A typeface is often called a font - a full set of letters/numbers/symbols ready to print books with - not just a lettering style of a few words on a poster.) TooManyFingers (talk) 15:15, 25 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
