My understanding from unofficial sources and news reports is that the pilots of N291CC, the C90 King Air that crashed in October 2025, had not announced to ATC or filed a flight plan to land at Hicks, and although their flight path suggests they were on approach, the idea that they intended to land there is speculation - perhaps well founded, but speculation nonetheless. I suggest that we wait for the preliminary NTSB report before adding the crash here. Carguychris (talk) 18:05, 29 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
