Not done for now':' Can you please add a link to the image and tell us where the request you are referring to can be found? Qwerty123M (talk) 12:40, 10 December 2025 (UTC)- Someone has changed the image to something that isn't Go-Jo. How do we go about changing it back and protecting this wiki from misuse? 93ben (talk) 11:33, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
- Figured out how to undo it. 93ben (talk) 11:36, 19 January 2026 (UTC)

"another big year around the sun."

Stated: "my birthday is also wrong"
Accounts are verified by Instagram and TikTok, I also personally verified this account through in person interactions.

Not done: Instagram and TikTok are not reliable sources. Aston305 (complain/compliment) 18:48, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
- Normally I get this response but these are the artists official accounts. ~2025-39900-25 (talk) 12:50, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
- Yeah I also disagree with @Aston305, I think social media sources should be used only in very limited circumstances such as when a personal statement is available nowhere else. Some other articles use social media as a citation in this way, just check how many articles transclude Template:Cite Instagram! This is not a particularly exceptional claim such as a matter relating to science or academia, this is only about his personal details. Qwerty123M (talk) 22:17, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
- There should be no issue with using his official social media accounts, but neither source explicitly says that his birthday is November 23rd. It may be better to remove the birth date altogether until better sources are found. Day Creature (talk) 22:23, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
- Looks like we are already citing Instagram for this? He's posted inconsistently on there for his birthday, so I'm now a little hesitant. meamemg (talk) 22:25, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
- I think we should go on the latest information since he himself in the TikTok says the 25th birthday is wrong ~2025-39900-25 (talk) 13:09, 12 December 2025 (UTC)
- So, I don't see any of these sources as actually saying what his birthday is. You might be able to infer things. But since that is what we did with the current source (assumed the date he posted a birthday post was his birthday), I'm not comfortable doing it a second time. meamemg (talk) 15:17, 12 December 2025 (UTC)

- @Aston305, shouldn't it be fine per WP:SELFSOURCE? meamemg (talk) 22:16, 11 December 2025 (UTC)

Not done: the page's protection level has changed since this request was placed. You should now be able to edit the page yourself. If you still seem to be unable to, please reopen the request with further details. meamemg (talk) 15:17, 12 December 2025 (UTC)
- why not just remove his birth date and leave year of birth (which seems uncontested) Lajmmoore (talk) 19:56, 12 December 2025 (UTC)
- That's a good compromise. I have implemented that proposal. If this discussion is revived in the future I could re-add some of those details. Qwerty123M (talk) 12:13, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
