It is well-sourced, and Earwig shows only a 2.9% similarity. I spotchecked sources 2, 12, 22, and 32 and found no issues. QPQ done. The Reuters source supports the hook fact and is cited in the article. I personally think the hook is only mildly interesting, but since the article is relatively short and primarily focuses on the subject's gymnastics career, I cannot come up with a better hook than this.
