August 2025 helicopter crash
[edit]Should we add a mention of the August 2025 helicopter crash that killed the Ghanaian defense minister Edward Omane Boamah and the Ghanaian Environment, Science and Technology Minister Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed? Their helicopter had taken off from Accra and was heading to the town of Obuasi for an event to combat galamsey illegal mining.

- The crash seems only tangentially related to galamsey, so I'm not sure if it's relevant to mention in this article. Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 13:40, 7 August 2025 (UTC)
- It's worth mentioning. It was a national human disaster of epic proportions as observed by the Nation and its citizens. Nerdpj (talk) 13:58, 13 June 2026 (UTC)
