NPOV
[edit]Page violates WP:NPOV. Consider the first paragraph:
- The exploitation of natural resources describes using natural resources, often non-renewable or limited, for economic growth or development. Environmental degradation, human insecurity, and social conflict frequently accompany natural resource exploitation. ...
Seriously? Let's just try plugging the first sentence to the second sentence:
- Frequently, using natural resources for economic growth or development is accompanied by nvironmental degradation, human insecurity, and social conflict.
Very interesting, which bring the question of how does one develop an economy without natural resources... Let's read further:
- Natural resources are vital for human survival, however, if their consumption surpasses their natural replenishment rate, the resources can become depleted.
Oh, so is the article really about "Depletion of natural resources"? In that case, the very *title* of the article is wrong, let alone the rest of it. pony in a strange land (talk) 01:52, 20 May 2026 (UTC)
- @Cosmia Nebula: The article explains how over-exploitation of resources leads to depletion of resources.
- If the article is biased or misleading, how should it be changed? Jarble (talk) 20:42, 31 May 2026 (UTC)
