[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Enterprise mobility management. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20121012043824/http://www.computerworld.com/pdfs/IDC_MobilePlatform_WhitePaper.pdf to http://www.computerworld.com/pdfs/IDC_MobilePlatform_WhitePaper.pdf
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

EMM
[edit]Significantly expanded article to address multiple content gaps identified in the existing stub. Added expanded lead paragraph covering EMM evolution from MDM in the early 2010s, four core components, and UEM context. Added new Components section explaining the four pillars of EMM: Mobile Device Management (MDM), Mobile Application Management (MAM), Mobile Content Management (MCM), and Mobile Identity Management (MIM), which were entirely absent from the previous article. Added new Relationship to MDM and UEM section clarifying terminology differences between MDM, EMM, and UEM, a common source of reader confusion not previously addressed. Updated Business use section with current Omdia 2024 statistics showing over 60% of workforce uses mobile devices for business-critical tasks and 67% of enterprises support BYOD, supplementing the existing 2011-2012 data. Added context on hybrid work adoption following COVID-19 pandemic and growth of mobile cyberattacks in early 2020s. Added Regulatory compliance subsection under Security covering GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS and ISO 27001 requirements relevant to EMM deployments, previously absent from the Security section. Added new Implementation challenges section covering five key challenges: OS and device fragmentation, employee privacy concerns, offboarding gaps, application adoption failure, and policy management complexity. Added new Trends and developments section covering six current developments: Zero Trust integration, UEM convergence, passwordless authentication and FIDO2, AI-assisted management, IoT and wearable device management, and Mobile Threat Defence integration. Updated See Also section with Zero Trust security model and Mobile threat defense links to reflect new content added. Added Further reading section with IBM Think and Digioxide Technologies sources used in researching this expansion. Added IBM Think citation by Badman and Kosinski supporting core component definitions, UEM convergence, BYOD statistics, and trends content. Citation needed tags added throughout for additional sourcing by other editors. All existing content, references and formatting preserved exactly as found.
