Missing list
[edit]The section "In the Gregorian Calendar refers to "the following list", but no list follows. Has a table been removed? If so the section would need a rewrite. Tigerboy1966 06:18, 6 June 2025 (UTC)
The Islamic Tradition Behind Eid al-Adha is the Binding of Ishmael (not Isaac)
[edit]The article claims that the festival originates from the Islamic tradition of Abraham being commanded to slaugther Isaac. This is plain wrong. In Islamic tradition, it was the binding of Ishmael. It may be the binding of Isaac for Christians and Jews but not for Muslims or Islam. Please correct the article to correctly present what Islam says and what Muslims believe in. ~2026-23320-36 (talk) 08:02, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
