Hello Dafootballguy and thanks for the nomination of this article. However, the article fails criterion 2b since there are too many unreferenced paragraphs. Examples are the paragraphs starting with "The 1982 season was shortened after", "Johnson quickly returned the Cowboys to the NFL's", "Gailey led the team to two playoff appearances", and "When the Dallas Cowboys franchise debuted in 1960". According to criterion 2b, these and similar passages require inline citations "no later than the end of the paragraph". Additionally, the article has the maintenance tag citation needed. I suggest that you add all the relevant references before a renomination.

A few other observations

WP:EARWIG detects possible copyvios with https://www.dallascowboys.com/news/countdown-jesse-holley-s-shining-moment , so it might be good to look into that.
with 12872 words readable prose size, the article is relatively long, see WP:SIZERULE. You could try to summarize and move overly detailed information to child articles.

The New England Patriots have appeared in 12 Super Bowls, not 11 as it is listed in the second paragraph.

Currently: "The franchise has made it to the Super Bowl eight times, tying it with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Denver Broncos, and San Francisco 49ers for second-most Super Bowl appearances in history behind the New England Patriots' record **11** appearances."

Should be: "The franchise has made it to the Super Bowl eight times, tying it with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Denver Broncos, and San Francisco 49ers for second-most Super Bowl appearances in history behind the New England Patriots' record **12** appearances."
