Correction regarding ACU affiliation
[edit]I am requesting an update to the "Academic career" section of this article. It currently states that Chris Sidoti "is an adjunct professor at the Australian Catholic University."
However, he is no longer associated with the university. His profile has been removed from the ACU staff directory, and the university has confirmed via direct correspondence that the previous listing was a "legacy" entry that remained on the site in error.
As the current claim is no longer supported by a primary source from the institution, I propose updating the text to reflect that this was a former role or removing the affiliation entirely to ensure the biography is accurate. ~~~~ MarkofMelbourne (talk) 00:34, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
- I made this update after no feedback or objection to the change. I can now also confirm that Chris Sidoti does not appear on the faculty list at the University of Western Sydney and I will therefore update the page to correct the error unless I receive alternative information MarkofMelbourne (talk) 02:38, 2 April 2026 (UTC)
- There are sources which state he is "an adjunct professor at the University of Western Sydney, Griffith University (Queensland), University of the Sunshine Coast (Queensland) and the Australian Catholic University and an Affiliate at the Sydney Centre for International Law at the University of Sydney". If we are convinced that some of this information is out of date, rather than removing it, consider changing the tense from present to past.[1][2] Burrobert (talk) 12:29, 2 April 2026 (UTC)
