I added content about the 2026 allegations reported by RNZ and Stuff. The material is attributed and clearly states that the claims are unverified.
Both sources are reliable New Zealand news outlets, and the wording avoids stating the allegations as fact.
Could you clarify why this content was removed? If there are concerns about weight or wording, I’m happy to adjust it to better meet Wikipedia’s policies on biographies of living persons. ~2026-16880-00 (talk) 07:14, 18 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, but I also note that if this becomes a bigger issue, with an actual impact, then its going to need to a mention. But I think its too soon at the moment. IdiotSavant (talk) 21:06, 18 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Some of the references in this article need updating. There's a link to a profile that isn't on the Beehive website anymore. There are specific claims of Hipkins being a "training manager" at Todd Energy, but although there are plenty of credible sources (eg RNZ) that say he worked there, I've yet to find one that confirms his job title there. Hipkins is in the running to be PM again after the next election. Like CLuxon's Wikipedia article, Hipkins' needs to be up-to-date and scrupulously accurate from now until the election is over.
