Funding Threat 2025

I began this missing section last week using much of the news available and let CDNC director Brian Grieger know about it yesterday before posting today. I asked him about easier funding options and the latest news. He said that UC Riverside is holding back on further news until all parties (department chair, faculty, staff) can meet today May 8, review the facts, and decide how to proceed. He will probably let us know on Facebook, by email to the user list-serve, and I hope that UCR will post a press release.

I have several articles and blogs yet to cite.

Please add what ever is missing.

Removed poorly written and poorly sourced content again, blogs, Facebook and discussion groups are unreliable sources, two of the blogs you added are dated 2015 and 2012, this much content is UNDUE for inclusion, a paragraph is sufficient. And if you have a personal connection with the director and/or this organization, since it appears you are in contact with them, you may have a conflict of interest in adding this material. Wikipedia is not a soapbox or means of promotion, nor are we here to advocate for any particular organization. Please also see WP:ONUS, the responsibility for achieving consensus for inclusion is on those seeking to include disputed content. Thanks. Isaidnoway (talk) 07:57, 11 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
