Early life and education
[edit]Albert was born in Quebec to a Trinidadian father and a Haitian mother. He received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from Yale University, his B.C.L. from the University of Oxford, and his LL.M. from Harvard University. He clerked for Beverley McLachlin, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada.[1][2]
Controversy
[edit]In 2023, local Christians in the area advocated for the removal of Albert from the Constitutional Reform Committee saying "he has a distinct pro-LGBT and pro-abortion bias".[3]
