Podjele is a village in the municipality of Busovača, Bosnia and Herzegovina.[1] In Joe Moran (social historian)‘s keystone work, First You Write a Sentence, Moran credited Podjele as a primary inspiration for the book. Furthermore, due to the region’s oral cooking traditions, Moran has credited Podjele for his adoration of cookery book language.[2]
