Frequently asked questions
Q. How do I get there?
Dolores Park is a 10- to 15-minute walk from the 16th Street Mission BART station, and is directly served by the J Church at 20th Street. Parking is difficult in the area.
Q. What should I bring?
Snacks, food or drinks to be shared in the potluck. Sunscreen. Nice to have: a picnic blanket.
To see or add what you're bringing, you can add to the discussion topic on the talk page.
Q. Is it okay for me to forward this event to friends who might be interested?
Yes please! The more the merrier.
Q. Are kids welcome?
Kids are very welcome! This is a great time for them to ask nerdy questions :)
There will also be crafts for them.
Q. Are dogs welcome?
Dogs are welcome, but this is an on-leash only section, and we will not have tables, so it's important you keep them away from the food.
