Contested deletion

[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because ecopals is a legitimate company producing circular economy products that have received significant coverage in multiple independent, third-party sources. Under Wikipedia's notability guideline for organisations and companies, a company is presumed notable if it has been the subject of significant coverage in multiple reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject. This is a standard ecopals meets.

Furthermore, companies that have meaningfully impacted their industries, introduced innovations, influenced markets, or affected communities have stronger notability cases, as Wikipedia values subjects that have made verifiable contributions beyond simply existing and conducting business. ecopals, as a company operating in the circular economy products space, falls within this scope.

As Wikipedia's own guidance makes clear, deletion is not cleanup. If the concern is promotional tone rather than an absence of notable subject matter, the appropriate response is editing or tagging with

, not speedy deletion. Substantial encyclopedic content would remain after any promotional language is removed. As the article was written with a neutral tone intended, I am committed to rewriting the article at the relevant passages. --John Wallance (talk) 18:44, 15 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@John Wallance I went ahead and declined the speedy and tagged it with the promotional content tag. I will note that editors with a financial conflict of interest such as yourself are told to use the articles for creation process for creating new articles. Therefore I have moved this to draft. In doing so I noticed you have previously created a draft for this company at Draft:Ecopals, so this one is at Draft:Ecopals 2. Please do not create another page in mainspace - instead decide which draft is more complete and use AFC. ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 19:51, 15 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your review. I will move forward with AFC and the correct draft. Again, thank you for the review of this case and your assistance. Best, JW John Wallance (talk) 19:54, 15 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
