COI disclosure and draft submission
[edit]I am an employee of ClickHouse, Inc. and therefore have a conflict of interest regarding this topic.
This draft has been written in accordance with Wikipedia's neutral point of view and verifiability policies, relying on independent sources where available.
I understand that the current sources may not yet fully establish notability, and I would appreciate feedback from independent editors.
Thank you for your review. ShawnChen Sirius (talk) 06:27, 6 May 2026 (UTC)
Rewrite addressing the decline (LLM and sourcing)
[edit]I have rewritten this draft to address the two reasons for the previous decline.
- LLM concern: the text was rewritten in plain, neutral prose. AI was used only for grammar and formatting; all factual content, dates, and version history were checked by a human against each cited source individually. Disclosed per WP:LLMDISCLOSE.
- Sourcing concern ("corporate blogs are not reliable sources"): reliance on company blogs was reduced, and the article now draws on independent and peer-reviewed sources, including:
- ClickHouse – Lightning Fast Analytics for Everyone (VLDB 2024), which describes chDB's in-process design;
- Accio: Bolt-on Query Federation (VLDB 2025, Simon Fraser University and Huawei), which evaluates chDB as one of five data-science query engines;
- a Eindhoven University of Technology master's thesis surveying embedded OLAP engines, which covers chDB in detail;
- the Carnegie Mellon Database of Databases entry; and
- an independent technical review by Anton Zhiyanov.
I would be grateful for another review.
