Z Gallery Arts Inc. is a Canadian arts organization and former contemporary art gallery based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Founded in 2016 by artist and curator Zohra Bonnis, the organization operated a physical exhibition programme from 2016 to 2020, presenting solo exhibitions in Vancouver and participating in international art fairs in New York, Miami, and Paris.[1][2][3]

Z Gallery Arts Inc. was founded in 2016 by Zohra Bonnis in Vancouver, British Columbia.[3] Bonnis is a ceramist and curator.[4]

The organization operated a contemporary art gallery from 2016 to 2020, presenting solo exhibitions by international artists.[2][1]

"Shadows in the Mirror" (2017)

From April 6 to May 8, 2017, Z Gallery Arts presented "Shadows in the Mirror," the first solo exhibition in North America by Finnish-born, Paris-based artist Henni Alftan.[5][6] The exhibition comprised fifteen oil-on-canvas works.[5]

Writing in the Vancouver Courier, journalist Kris McDermott reviewed the exhibition, discussing Alftan's paintings Visitor, Parking Lot, and Still Water, and referencing Alftan's background at the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris.[5]

Z Gallery Arts supported the placement of represented artists in international residency programmes. In 2018, the organization supported artist Kinu Kamura's residency at Residency Unlimited in Brooklyn, New York, from May to July 2018.[18] Artist Ran Zhou is listed as having been represented by Z Gallery Arts on the Residency Unlimited website.[19]

The artist Ferle is listed on Artsy as having shown with Z Gallery Arts.[20]
