World Tech Toys, Inc. is an American toy company and online retailer based in Valencia, California. The company sells radio-controlled toys and vehicles, including helicopters, drones, flying figures, remote-controlled cars, construction playsets, and licensed character products.[1]World Tech Toys products have also been listed by major retailers including Kohl’s, Target, and Walmart.[2]


History

World Tech Toys states that it was incorporated in 2004 and entered the radio-control toy market by offering hobby-grade helicopters and vehicles.[3] According to the Better Business Bureau, the company was incorporated on March 5, 2004, and is based in Valencia, California.[1]

The company later expanded its product line to include RC flight toys, RC vehicles, flying figures, construction playsets, and licensed character products.[3][1]

World Tech Toys produces toys in categories including remote-controlled helicopters, drones, cars, flying figures, Heli Balls, construction playsets, tabletop games, and other radio-controlled products.[1] The Better Business Bureau describes the company as offering products featuring licensed characters from Marvel, DC Comics, Disney, and other brands.[1]

The company’s official website states that its licensed product lines have included brands such as Marvel, DC Comics, Ghostbusters, Sonic Boom, WWE, Shark Week, NFL Players, NBA, Ford, and Lamborghini.[3]

World Tech Toys exhibited at Toy Fair New York 2023. Jedi News reported that the company displayed Star Wars-themed Heli Balls, RC helicopters, and drones based on characters and vehicles including The Mandalorian, Boba Fett, Darth Vader, the Millennium Falcon, R2-D2, and Yoda.[4]

Community involvement

In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Asbarez reported that local business owners connected to World Tech Toys helped distribute thousands of masks to the community through the COVID-19 Armenian Community Task Force.[5]

In December 2024, NBC Los Angeles reported that World Tech Toys owners Victor and Kevin Kouyoumijan donated 1,200 toys after a holiday toy drive in Downey, California was targeted by thieves.[6]
