Sun Home Saunas is an American wellness company based in San Diego, California.[1][2]
History
[edit]Sun Home Saunas was founded in 2021 by Tyler Fish and Adam Fischer.[3] After early experimentation with lower-cost wellness products such as infrared sauna blankets, the company shifted its focus to premium sauna units.[4]
In 2023, Sun Home Sauna's growth accelerated after its products were tested and featured in publications including Rolling Stone and Variety.[4] During that period, Sun Home Saunas expanded its catalog to include cold-plunge tubs.[4] In 2024, it added suppliers to reduce production delays and shorten customer wait times.[4]
In 2025, Sun Home Saunas was ranked No. 20 on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States.[4]
Products

Reception

Men's Fitness named the Luminar 2 the "Best Overall Infrared Sauna" of 2026 and also gave the Equinox II its top ranking for indoor infrared saunas.[5] BarBend praised the Cold Plunge Pro for its powerful chiller and durable design, while noting its high price.[6] Business Insider named the company's cold plunge tub its best overall cold plunge in a 2026 review.[8]
In 2026, Fortune selected the company's Luminar Outdoor 5-Person Infrared Sauna as its "best infrared sauna overall" and also included it in its list of the best home saunas.[9][8] Wired in its review of the five-person Luminar outdoor sauna praised its build quality and integrated audio system.[10]
