Shaikh Hamdan (Urdu: شیخ حمدان) is a Pakistani football manager who serves as head coach of the Karachi United men's team since 2022.
Early life
[edit]Shaikh Hamdan Abdul Hakeem was born on 16 August, 1994 in Karachi, Pakistan. He attended SZABIST and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering.[1]
Career

[edit]Hamdan started out at Karachi United as an academy coach volunteering his time before being promoted to the first team.[2] He then obtained his UEFA B Licence during his managerial career with Karachi United.[1] He led the Karachi United men's team to promotion whilst assistant to Kareem Kerai in 2020.[3] During his time as assistant coach and head coach, he has been a part of the team who travel to Aspire Academy as they take on Qatar's finest.[4] He was then appointed as the head coach of the mens team in 2022.
Pakistan U20
[edit]Hamdan was called up to the Pakistan U20 as an assistant coach to Shahzad Anwar.[5][6][7] The team was a part of the 2026 SAFF U-20 Championship taking on India and Bangladesh.[8][9]
