Overview
Quod Financial is a trading technology company.[1] The company provides multi-asset trading technology for electronic trading in capital markets to institutional clients including banks, brokers, and asset managers. Its products support order management, execution management, smart order routing, and algorithmic trading across equities, foreign exchange, derivatives, and fixed income.[2]
History
Quod Financial was founded in January 2008 by Ali Pichavi following a spin-off from Net2s Group. The founding team had previously worked on implementations of global order management systems in Europe and Asia.[3]
Partnerships and Integrations
In 2020, Refinitiv selected Quod Financial to Provide an order management system for a sell-side trading solution for banks and brokers, integrating front-to-middle-office services including pre-trade risk, smart order routing, algorithmic trading, and analytics.[4]
Quod Financial also partnered with QuantHouse to incorporate low-latency and historical market data into its execution platform, with the aim of improving transaction cost analysis at the point of execution.[5]
Recognition
Quod Financial has received recognition from specialist capital markets technology publications. WatersTechnology awarded the company Best Smart Order Routing Product in its Sell-Side Technology Awards (2021),[6]Best Buy-Side Transaction Cost Analysis Tool in its BST Awards (2021),[7] and Best Execution Management System in its Asia Awards (2022).[8]
