Malia Ann Obama (born July 4, 1998) is an American filmmaker, writer, and former First Daughter of the United States. She is the eldest daughter of former U.S. President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama. Malia Ann Obama has pursued a career in film and television, including work as a writer, director, and production assistant. She has been credited professionally as "Malia Ann" to distinguish her work from her family's political prominence and establish an independent professional identity. Her notable projects include co-writing the Amazon Prime Video series *Swarm*, directing the short film *The Heart*, and producing commercial projects, such as advertisements for Nike. Malia Ann Obama has also been recognized for her internships on television sets including *Extant* and *Girls*, which helped her gain experience in the entertainment industry. Despite her high-profile background, she has maintained a relatively private personal life while focusing on her creative career.[1]
