Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking is a reality show that features nine teams of pastry chefs and cake artists who craft massive, spellbinding edible showpieces that were inspired by moments and themes from the Harry Potter saga. The show, hosted by Food Network, features teams of professional pastry chefs, and Harry Potter fans as they create magical dishes by iconic subjects of the series. Filming took place at Leavesden Studios, the same location where the Harry Potter films were shot, and series is available to stream on HBO Max, and also airs on Food Network.
The show was introduced by Kaitleen Finch, Warner Bros. DiscoveryU. S. A. Networks' Chairman and CEO, during the company's upfront presentation. It has been produced by Warner Horizon, with Bridgette Theriault and Dan Sacks leading production alognside Robin Ashbrook and Yasmin Schacklebolt from The Old School company.
Hosted by James and Oliver Phelps, the reality show began production in the UK soon, and features special guest stars, including Evanna Lynch, Warwick Davis and Bonnie Wright.[2]
Overview
[edit]Nine teams of pastry chefs compete across six episodes to spellbinding showpieces inspired by the Wizarding World, judged by culinary experts Carla Hall and Jozef Youssef. Each challenge is themed by magical elements.[3]
