The company offers self storage units, moving and packing supplies, and truck rentals for both business and residential customers. The company is a member of Amsdell Companies, which has roots in the construction and real estate industry dating back to 1928.[1]
History
[edit]Compass Self Storage was established in 2008 as part of Amsdell Companies’ expansion into the national self storage market.[1] The company has expanded its portfolio through acquisitions and development of facilities in multiple U.S. regions, such as the acquisition of a storage facility in Westerly, Rhode Island in 2025.[2]
