Attendant is an alternative rock band from London, England[1]. Their songs blend punk, grunge, and post-hardcore influences[2] with satirical and anti-authoritarian lyrical themes[3].
The band began releasing singles in 2020[4]. A debut album State of Disarray[5] followed in 2024, described as "a Britrock soap opera set in a collapsing society".[6]
The band's singles have appeared on BBC Radio 1[7] and Seattle's KEXP[8].
Members
[edit]The line-up comprises Andy Walker (guitar, vocals), Guy Davis (drums), and Sean Shreeve (bass). Davis and Shreeve previously played together in Freeze the Atlantic. Davis is a former member of the band Reuben.
