2026 Slovak referendum

A referendum is scheduled to be held in Slovakia on 4 July 2026.[1] The question will be on whether to cancel life payments for leaders after their terms expire.[2][3][4]

Background

The referendum came from a petition organized by the Democrats party which was signed by more than 350,000 citizens.[5]
