Track/mix was posted within the last 6 months.

To keep the content of the subreddit fresh, we remove posts that have already been posted within the past 6 months. Please search before posting to ensure your submission has not already been posted.

Hall of Fame Violation

Tracks are added to the Hall of Fame if they are popular enough to be posted constantly, always receive a large amount of upvotes and frequently become top submissions. Removing these tracks that are continually posted is a way to keep the content in the subreddit fresh.

Not trance-related

As this is a trance subreddit, submissions must be relevant to trance

The submission is not tagged correctly

MIXES/ALBUMS MUST INCLUDE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING TAGS IN THE TITLE (PREFERABLY AT THE END):

Mixes/Albums must include one of the following tags in the title (preferably at the end):

[Liveset] or [Live Set] for recordings from shows/live events
[Radio Show] (for radio shows and podcasts)
[User Mix] (for mixes from users of the subreddit)
[Album] (for when the mix is part of an album)
[Mix] (for all other mixes that do not fall under any of the other categories)

Tracks/mixes must be predominantly trance

As this is a trance subreddit, tracks must be predominantly trance. Tracks that are another genre, but 'contain trance elements' are candidates for removal. Mixes must also consist of a majority of trance tracks to be allowed

ID - ID Violation

All posts related to newly played tracks (i.e. ID - ID) need to be contained within the Weekly Discussion Thread. ID requests for old tracks are still allowed as a standalone post.

No images not on Fridays

No memes

Memes belong in r/trancecirclejerk.

Blogspam is not tolerated

If the post is to a blog that just has a track embedded within it, this is considered blogspam and is a candidate for removal and an instant ban.

Respect the artists and labels that provide music to you, do not link to piracy sources.

Submission Title Format

Artist - Song Title (What type of remix) [Year of release]

Note: The year of release is not required but please try and add it. If the track is the original mix, having '(Original Mix)' for the type of remix is also not required.

No Playlists

Playlists (e.g., Spotify) should not be submitted as links. Instead, they can be posted in the Weekly Discussion Threads.

Live events must be self-posts

All posts concerning live events must be self-posts. This includes Twitch channels and Reddit Live links.
