I need to give my Amazon driver a password for one of my packages. But it is going to the mail center soooo idk what to do.

So I ordered something on Amazon. Today I got an email saying I need to give a password to the driver to make my packaged picked up (the package is something big so that's why I need to give a password I guess). But it's going to the mail center so I don't fully know if my package will be delivered to them. My plan is to give the password to the mail center but I am not 100% if that is allowed. Anyone have a solution to my predictiment?
