Who's excited for another 2 days without power!!!

went in for a cleaning. walked out with a 5 page treatment plan and a patient coordinator who asked about my financing options. for my teeth lol.

the dentist spent 45 seconds looking at my xrays and then 20 minutes explaining why i need invisalign. i told him i like my teeth. theyre fine. theyre not perfect but theyre mine. he said but imagine how confident youd feel with straight teeth. i said i feel pretty confident lready. i just ate a bag of popcorn and didnt choke once. he did not laugh. then he mentioned a night guard. and a deep cleaning. and replacing two fillings that are wearing down. by the end of it he had a full sales pitch going.

when i checked out they gave me a folder with my name on it. inside was a breakdown of everything i need and a payment plan. i felt like i was buying a car.

anyone else feel like their dentist is running a side hustle? or is it just me
