Training to Stay Out of My Bed
Training to Stay Out of My Bed
help

Who the culprits are:

180lb Great Dane
90lb Chocolate Lab
8lbs Dachsund

The problem:

Everyone has primo beds and nighttime routines. The Dane has his giant bed and gets tucked in under a blanket (he loves being in blankets).

The lab gets simple point, and straight to her bed. Some scritches follow for being a good girl.

Dachsy has a burrow bed she loves. Gets tucked in and all is well.

Off to sleep I go, which to them means, dads asleep, no bed enforcement, time to pile on.

Next thing I know, I have a wiener dog under under the blanket between my legs and two giant dogs on top of the covers on each side of me making me a mummy under my duvet and unable to move.

I wake up, give a simple "off" command and everyone scurries back to bed.

Rinse and repeat.

Im thinking at this point a barrier to physically restrict access is the only option but curious if you fine folks of Reddit have any thoughts.
