Moving to the area

Hi everyone! I’m moving soon to Downers Grove and am wondering if there are any apartment buildings that I should avoid living in for any reason?

I’m looking for a 1 bed 1 bath at around the $2000 mark, which keeps me out of some of the posh buildings around DG. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good building in the DG area? Or maybe even better a sort of “no fly” list of places that I should avoid. Thanks!

Edit: DMs are welcome if you don’t want to publicly praise or shame your apartment building!
