Town redirected to valley
[edit]I note the town of Kaghan has been redirected to the valley, but both towns and valleys can be separate articles, to give examples where this is the case:
- Vale of Neath The town of Neath in South Wales stands at the head of the Vale of Neath, carved by the River Neath.
- Coachella Valley – A valley in Southern California named after the city of Coachella, California
- Hudson Valley – Region along the Hudson River in New York named after the city of Hudson, New York
- Napa Valley – A wine-growing region in California named after the city of Napa, California
- Yakima Valley – An agricultural valley in Washington state named after the city of Yakima, Washington
- Santa Clara Valley – Silicon Valley-area valley in California named after the city of Santa Clara, California
- San Fernando Valley – Valley and suburban region in Los Angeles County named after the city of San Fernando, California
- San Gabriel Valley – Valley in Los Angeles County named after the city of San Gabriel, California
- Salinas Valley – “Salad Bowl of the World” valley in California named after the city of Salinas, California
- Imperial Valley – Desert valley in southeastern California named after the city of Imperial, California
- Monongahela Valley – Industrial river valley in Pennsylvania named after the borough of Monongahela, Pennsylvania
- Colne Valley The town of Colne in Lancashire lends its name to the Colne Valley in West Yorkshire.
This is not a random collection of information but an encyclopaedic method, although we could cite the lack of sources for being a reason to redirect.
