MD 20/20
[edit]MD 20/20 is presented and sold in the style of a "vodka", the bottle is not wine-like whatsoever, I know many people who think that after the liquor stores close that you can still get liquor in the form of "Mad Dog" from Albertsons. Of course, this should go against all reasoning on hard liquor laws, but alas. 4.255.55.13 (talk) 19:05, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
- MD 20/20 is a fortified wine, a type of wine in which a distilled spirit (that is, hard liquor) has been added. Mad Dog is now an actual sub-brand of MD 20/20, specifically branded as "Mad Dog by MD 20/20". Segin (talk) 15:31, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
Thunderbird wine was also popular in the UK
[edit]I've heard it mentioned numerous times, including by the comedian Greg Davies who claimed to have lived on it as a student. 212.3.199.237 (talk) 22:47, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
