Maurice Blair (born 16 October 1984) is an Indigenous Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays for Hull Kingston Rovers in the Super League.

Blair primarily plays in the Second-row position and he can also play as a stand-off or Centre.

Background

Blair was born in Maryborough, Queensland, Australia.

Early career

Blair training with the Indigenous Dreamtime Team in 2008

Blair played his junior football with Maryborough Rovers before signing with Souths Logan Magpies.

Penrith Panthers

He made his NRL début playing for the Panthers against the New Zealand Warriors in round 15, 2007.

Representative career

He was honoured in 2008, the Centenary Season of Rugby League, playing at centre for the Indigenous Dreamtime Team who defeated the New Zealand Maori 34–26 at the World Cup Opening Ceremony.

Melbourne Storm

Blair signed for the Melbourne Storm for the 2011 season.[7] He made his début for the Storm against the Brisbane Broncos later in the season.

Gold Coast Titans

Bobby spent the 2014 at the Gold Coast Titans.

Hull Kingston Rovers

On 18 October 2014, Blair was released from the Titans alongside Albert Kelly to sign two-year contracts with Hull Kingston Rovers, replacing Australian halves Travis Burns and Kris Keating.[8][9]
