Destacking

Stevie, if we can accept LLMs/AI, I'm removing the stacking rule to give manual editors a greater chance. You can now edit whatever you want, but try to avoid virtually identical articles and them being too cookie cutter, some variation if you can. No worries, thanks for letting me know. I'm trying to vary things as much as I can. I want to get the 300 countries if I can so there will be a lot of things done which just aren't stackable. Destubathon runs until the 16th of July

Hi, just a courtesy message to notify you in case you haven't seen the Wikipedia:The World Destubathon contest update in the last few days that we've decided to run the full month until the 16th of July. For those who have been too busy to contribute, we would love some help in reaching 4000 articles by Wednesday night! In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) Thank you for notifying me. It would be appreciated if you could say "I've completely reverted edit XYZ" when that is actually what has happened. I would understand if the emblem description was problematic as I didn't wish to change it too much from the constitutional definition, heraldry can be complicated and specific sometimes which limits the ability to paraphrase. I have attempted to fix this and made sure no other parts could potentially be considered copyvios so that the information can still be included. Stevie fae Scotland (talk) 22:12, 15 July 2025 (UTC)

Since joining in 2010, he has created about 200 articles. In the Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The European Destubathon, he destubbed over 100 articles and in the recent Wikipedia:The World Destubathon, he managed to destub over 300 articles. He has also gotten many articles to good article status such as 2022 Aberdeenshire Council election, 2022 Argyll and Bute Council election, 2022 Comhairle nan Eilean Siar election, 2022 Glasgow City Council election and 2022 South Lanarkshire Council election.
