George Albert Aspinall was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1940s. He played at representative level for England, and at club level for Liverpool Stanley, as a wing.[1]
Playing career

[edit]During the Second World War, Aspinall guested for Wigan, and played in both legs of the 1940–41 Championship final defeat against Bradford Northern.[3]
Aspinall was transferred from Liverpool Stanley to Hunslet in October 1946.[4] He was transfer listed five months later,[5] and signed with Salford.[6]
International honours
[edit]Aspinall won a cap for England while at Liverpool Stanley in 1943 against Wales.
